Rear Bumper - (continued)

The ends of the 3/8" plates were trimmed at an angle, and then tripled in width, to be used as attachement points for D-ring shackles.
The shackle mounts after being ground to a smooth finish.

Tapped gussets were added for strength, and to fasten an aluminum diamond-plate top deck to the bumper.

Like my front bumper, 1/8" aluminum diamond-plate was used to skin over the tubing and also provide a finished surface to stand on. I skinned my hoop, whereas Brittan chose to leave his hoop tubing exposed.

And finally, the skin was painted black to match the black powder-coat on the bumper.
